Behind Simone in Bordeaux, a young French brand of costume jewelry, hides Agnès Tardy, former director of public relations for Cartier, who decided to launch her brand in 2018 when she was in the midst of a fight...
Color as therapy
In 2018, Agnès Tardy learned that she was suffering from breast cancer. It was during her long months of treatment that she decided to launch her jewelry brand, Simone in Bordeaux, in order to transform this ordeal into something positive; a driving force that helped her a lot to face the disease.
Simone is a grandmother, a friend, Simone Veil...a figure who inspired Agnès during her fight. Bordeaux is the city for which the designer, her husband and their daughter decided to leave Paris in 2016, in order to take advantage of this beautiful region.
Simone in Bordeaux, these are colorful jewels that boost you on a daily basis. These are jewels that bring comfort and support in difficult times, just like what their creator was able to experience. The brand offers quality jewelry designed in a workshop-showroom in Bordeaux from materials such as gold plating and natural stones, sourced in India and Asia.
To stay in line with the values of the brand, all jewelry is handmade and part of the production is assembled by women with disabilities. A portion of the brand's turnover is also donated to associations.
Today, Simone in Bordeaux is followed by a caring community and ambassadors, who love and support the history of the brand and its approach. So if you are in tune with Simone's philosophy in Bordeaux, get involved with her and support the brand now!
