    Heel drop phenomenon: In the first days of using your pair of boots, you may notice that your heel lifts inside the boot. This is a transient phenomenon which is due to the different layers of leather thicknesses in the sole. It takes time for the sole to soften and for the shape to adapt to the foot. After a few days, the bottoming disappears.
