It was in 2014, after 6 years of study in boilermaking, 2 years of business school and a 7-year career in metalwork, that Lillian Thollet founded Ox-idée, a company specializing in the design of designer furniture in metal.

Great collaborations

This enthusiast of metal work and industrial furniture then developed his own collections of furniture which he named after the streets of Lyon, and began to collaborate with other professionals in order to enrich his creations with raw materials such as wood, concrete, marble or even glass.

In 2016, Lillian met designer Jérôme Pantalacci. Both passionate about quality furniture, design and craftsmanship, they decide to collaborate. From this collaboration was born a new collection of singular furniture with the aim of giving back to metal all its lightness and elegance.

A tribute to the Lyonnais

At Ox-idée, we are very attached to Lyon and the people of Lyon. The company then decided to highlight three horizons known to all Lyonnais: Saint-Jean, the Presqu'île and the Part-Dieu, in the form of skylines in oiled raw steel. The little extra: to pay a real tribute to our beautiful city, all the stages of creation of the skylines are carried out in the Lyon region.
